ID Plates

Nameplate Engravers has particular expertise in the area of ID plates especially when working with so many engineering and manufacturing businesses throughout Ireland. Erosion or Corrosion resistant Data Plates are available made of Anodised and Colour Dyed Aluminium. Unlike screen printed aluminium the anodised aluminium plates go through a rigorous process whereby the pores of the aluminium are opened up before the anodic ink is applied. With the use of hydrochloric acid the pores are closed after printing making the plates indelible complying with the Manufacturers Directive. Therefore if you took mentholated spirits to the anodised plate the ink would not come off whereas it would disappear from a screen printed plate. This is something to be weary off when ordering data plates as they need to comply with the Manufacturers Directive.
